My first event on every New year’s day is to visit Dr. Khushdeva Singh Leprosy colony Patiala ( Kusht Ashram) A small cultural program with tea and snacks is organised for the inmates of leprosy colony. 32 families are staying in this colony which was started in 1958 by Dr. Khushdeva Singh Padam shree. Also present were Dr. Swaraj Singh USA and Sh.Pran Sabharwal, Padam Shree.
