- Aim of Early Intervention is to make the Infant improve his residual hearing capacity and to develop speech with help of parents.
- Early intervention is based on “Individualized Family Service Plan”
- It is successful only on Infants. Maximum after 2 years of age.
- Parents come to this center with infants from age of 3 months onwards for 2 to 3 hours daily.
- Early Intervention center will cater to the following technical facilities.
- A sound proof audiometry testing room
- Counselling room for parents
- Speech language pathologist service room
- Sound system room
- Physical therapy room
- Medical services room
- The final aim is to make the child a Hearing and Speaking child with this therapy.
